How to make a Zipper Pouch with Round Fish Embroidery – Part 1

This is an exciting week for me because I am going to start my first sewing project for World Axiom. As a crafter, I have so many different kinds of accessories and gadgets. Although I use all these pegboard jars helping me organizing my working corner, I need pouches to organize my threads and pencils too.

I am going to show you step by step on how to make a zipper pouch with a pair of Round Fish embroidery on it. This is a satisfying project for a beginner to start. This week, I will show you how to make patterns and get started.

The pouch I am going to make is 9.5”(L) x 4” (W), you can download my patterns (Pattern1 and Pattern2). If you want a bigger pouch, make the pattern per your own preferred dimension. Make sure to get a zipper that fits your pouch. I chose blue as my color theme, you can always choose the color you like.

I finished this pouch by hand stitching entirely. You can always finish the straight line stitching with your sewing machine if you have one at home.

P.S. I will show you how to embroider the Round Fish next week.
