How to Sew The Fishbone Stitch

Hi everyone!  Today I'm going to show you how to use the Fishbone Stitch to fill leaf shapes, as the stitch creates a "vein" down the center of the leaf.  It's not difficult at all, try it!

The advantage of fish bone stitch is the “vein” is obvious at the center after you complete it and you don’t have to do anything about it afterwards! Once you master the technique, you can play around with the stitching for different shapes of leaves.

For how to use Fly Stitch to make the stem and flower, click here to check out our last week tutorial.  It's easy too!

Ok, that's it for now, see you again next week!
